Sonny,

Eliminator did a 36 with 625s and single exhausts. I don't know who did them, but you might try calling Eliminator.

However here in Lee County they are cracking down on the noise too.
Let's face it. We may like it loud but we'll be extinct if we don't start doing something about it.

That boat is georgeous, still love the lines, paint looks great also, really wish I had one :D can you post a few more pics, and is this with your new underwater muffler set up like on one of the cats, or just a muffler. Is this the boat that almost hit a 100mph. Thanks Jeff

I know of a 40 written up in powerboat with a new pair that had bad water pumps that Ilmor would not warranty. Boat manufacturer pulled them and installed Pfaff's. Faster with the Pfaff's. I wasn't that fond of the sound either when I rode in the boat.

I should be able to tell you Saturday morning. It is going to be 80 degress, 10 knot winds and 2 foot seas. Wish the seas were rougher. I have heard a couple people say the sound was awesome. I guess I will have to decide if the sound is for me , if not will probably do the Merc 600s. Maybe the new 750ish hp Merc motor that is coming out? Anyone have any specs on the new motor that is supposed to be shown at Miami?

That concerns me it they are not big on the warranty end. I have never had any warranty problems with Mercury. I wonder if anyone else has had warranty problems.

1.The center exhaust pipe was made to our specs by CMI.

2.Yes Jeff, that's the one. Clamp on HPI mufflers.

3.Ilmor seems more than willing to take care of any issues. I don't know why warranty claims would be a problem.

I am supposed to go on a ride Saturday in a Donzi 38ZR with twin 625 Ilmors. I am told it will run 96mph. Will always run over 90 no matter the conditions or load.
