Did I miss something.. Is the Renagade a Concept or a spin off, looks very similar, nice looking boat.

Not a Concept, just similar in Design. I believe they originally use the 28 Magnum hull & added a foot. They are built by a small co., in Hialeah. I had an extremle positvie experience buying a boat from this co., especially after what you hear & read about some other manufacturers.

Johno -

Those performance numbers are fantastic. Looking forward to talking with them about the new setups they're offering...What's your average cruise speed with the Merc 250s?

bfay007, if you are in the 29-30 center console range I have seen Johno's boat before and it is super nice and a big 29 foot hull...bigger than Concept's 30. I use to own a 33/now called 36 Concept for2 years and can give you tons of feedback on that hull.

What type of boating do you plan to do with your CC. What size of person (this is very important) are you. What is your price range and were do you live? I can tell you all you want to know about these boats.

Mike
Hi Mike -
I'm planning on switching from a Cruiser to more of a day boat/fun boat. I boat on the Chesapeake Bay, and would like to use the boat to go out for the day, explore the bay, swim a little, maybe pull a toy, and generally just goof off and have fun.. I like the idea of zipping across the bay maybe get a room for the night, then zip back the next day too...This might sound strange, but I'm hoping to do a little light crabbing as well...I'm ~6' @ 190lbs. My girlfriend is small, and I sometimes have her two children on board (14 and 11 yrs). I'm mainly looking to get back into fun boating without all the hassle of a big cruiser...I'd like to stay as close to $100K as possible.

Bob

Bob:

I have owned a 30 Concept for just over a year and have put about 125 hours on it. The boat is great and Luis and his crew are great to work with. We use it in South Florida just for running around and diving during the summer. I have twin 250 Verados and cruise around 45mph and wot around 68. This is a great boat!!!!
