Gulf of Mexico vs what?

Nothing compares to what God has created. Not Lake Mead, Havasu, LOTO, Lake Thurmond, Cumberland. Once you boat on big water it is hard to change.

Lake Cumberland is a Corp of Eng impoundment, as are all the lakes (Cumberland, Dale Hollow, Cordell Hull, Old Hickory,
Percy Priest, Cheatham, Center Hill and Barkely) in the Cumberland River watershed.
TVA built and impounds the lakes on the Tennessee River watershed. They include Ft. Loudon, Tellico, Watts Bar, Chickamauga, Wilson, Wheeler, Pickwick, Kentucky, Norris, Nickajack, Douglas, Melton Hill, and Guntersville.
Congratulations to both on building some fantastic lakes :D .

I'll take Cumberland anytime.
Did LOTO for the 1st time at last yrs Shootout. It was ok as far as the lake itself. The bars were a good time.

Thank God for the Corp & TVA! They gave me Kentucky and Barkley Lakes. I have boated on Lake Cumberland and really enjoyed it over the past few years. Still have not made it to LOTO though...

Hey US1 Fountain, I believe we met about 6 years ago when you spent a weekend at KY lake. Carl Flood and I met up with you in the quarry and made a run or two around the lake together. If I remember correctly you took a huge wave and your wife was injured a bit. Hope all turned OK. If you ever make it back to KY lake give me a shout. Power-boating is huge there now!
