The mouth of the Columbia River is considered the most dangerous bar in the world. Matter of fact another bar pilot was lost last week when he fell into the river trying to board a ship from a pilot boat. They found his body washed up on shore a few days later. There must be a hundred or so shipwrecks out there.

We just had one of these do a 180 in the Barnegat NJ Inlet a few weeks back I wasn't on it Thank GOD
The Barnegat Inlet is also known to get pretty snotty at times for the East Coast
