the 575sci are great engines dont be surprised when they blow by you. They have fewer problems than the 525 from what I have seen. also be leary when the saleman tell you it has the same bottom as the ZR comp.(simular) also the cabin is full of bulkheads it makes the zr comp very strong & stable. I promise you the ZR comp will out run the cabin ZR. its all in what you want. Good Luck.

I agree the 575's are great engines, but still would prefer the 525's. Have to disagree about the 525's having less problems than the 575's.

I've heard nothing but great things about the 525's and a pair in a 38 Donzi would have to be bulletproof package... :D

i have a friend with the 525 always in the shop with little grimlins... nothing big but hes still off the water. go with the 625 ilmors.

at nyc show frank civitano from typhoon performance marine had the 38 zr loaded w/ 525's and aluminum trailer $318k that boat was sold but they have more on order typhoonperformancemarine.com give them a call they will be in miami
