For their very first try at the record those are some very impressive numbers.
I'm also glad they explained why they hired Skater to do some work for them. Not being experienced in full canopied boats and hiring the best in the business to help you out seems like a very smart move.

In the interview, it said that Cig chose Skater to lay up the cockpit since they're one of the safest around. They used the 46' Rough Rider hull. At least that's what I read...

When I was at the Skater factory last spring, that 46 Cig was there under construction. I was told that it was a "top secret" boat that they were building for Cigarette and we wer'nt allowed to say anything about it until it's done. (So I did'nt)Glad someone else did, I kept my promise.
