1999 27' Fountain Fever for $37,000
I was cruising Ebay this moring and saw an ad for a 1999 27' Fountain Fever. It has a "Buy It Now" price of $37,000. It's equipped with the base big block, 7.4 MPI (310 HP), Latham steering, and covers. I know the motor is probably too small, maybe the trailer is not included, and I don't know the other details, but $37K for a 1999 still seems like a steal! 
It is listed by Dick Simon. The auction closes this afternoon.

That is pretty low, but the boat will run maybe 60 with that motor.
However you add a trailer for $4500 and 496ho for about $12,000 less a couple grand for the 7.4 sale and you're about $52,000 or so that would be inline I think for a 99. The reserve is only $27,100 so you might be able to get it cheaper and make it a deal, but that motor has to go.
Also depends on condition, I can't believe that Fountain would put that motor in from the factory?
