ok, that IS awesome... So how much do you estimate you spent on doing this? 25k per motor? or all together? so for every 10k, you can add 100 hp per motor... sounds about right I guess?

Rob:

Great work! I have been looking forward to your results because they are as close as we will ever get to a legit comparison with our system, seeing as how Mark did the dyno work on both.

Are you sure you want to use the 4" pulley?

Thanks Tom .We did a little bit of tuning on the dyno with the 4 inch pulley. At the end of last year I ran the 4inch on the boat about 10 hours trying to get some more speed out of it.It feels real good at 10 psi but I ran out of prop We set the rev limiter at 6200 and the power was tapering off at by 5 hp per 100rpm at 6100 anyway.
Being I ran it so hard I pulled it down for the winter just to see how it liked it . No oil leaks, all the bolts were tight .I am even reusing the Bearings. no trash and the babbitt was still on them, and they were tight in the saddle.I sent the FelPros head gaskets back to my buddy at FelPro and he said they looked good. The rings didn't but.I was real Conservative on the gaps ,I am tighten them up some this time around. Now that I went into it and everything looked great I think I have a reliable package.I have some picks of the tear down and new stuff Ill post from the house
