Insurance on Turbine Boat

With all of the knowledge on this board..surely somebody can direct me to a place that might insure a turbine. I have already checked the obvious.(Sy,Bob Llewellen(sp)) It is a single turbine Eliminator. ANY ideas would be appreciated.

We found you can insure it all all times except on the water. Liability only when its running

I'd call John and ask him where his clients are getting their policies written at.

It's dumb isn't it? They hear the word turbine and think it goes mach1 :D a more practical approach would be to base on base HP not engine type, am I wrong?

I bet there is no insurance on the space shuttle either. And it probably has standard HP for a space shuttle.

It also has to do with the fact that if there's one malfunction at speed, it's guaranteed to be a total loss with multiple injuries.
