Come See The NEW 38' Fountain Lightning @ MIAMI, 106MPH, Mercury 600SCI and a load!!!
You may have heard, and it's all TRUE. Fountain has made alot of changes to the Fountain 38' Lightning, all 9,000+lbs of it. The new 38 has new bolsters, new cockpit layout, sliding door to cabin, 18" on center stagger set up. We ordered our boat which will be at MIAMI with Mercury 600SCI's, ITS, shorties and Herrings. The boat was tested today wth 5 people, 70 gallons of fuel and 45 degree temperature. I am happy to report that this boat ran 106MPH with this load. Be sure to stop by the FOUNTAIN booth and look at the new 38'.

As usual, posted great numbers. Glad to see someone at Fountain finally decided to give the tired cockpit a going over. Now, you'd think someone at Fountain would want the world to know and see this as quickly as possible......an update to the website sometime this year might be nice.

106 with a full load? I'm a Fountain guy myself but that is way faster than the cabin-less Poker run boats are going with 600's. That is just off the chart if it's true. How did it handle? Can you turn it? I want one!!!!
When do we get pics?
