Default trim tab and pump question

Just started boating last year and have a question about my trim tabs.

When I purchased the boat, the tabs were off the boat. I am getting the K planes powder coated now, and installing them for the up coming season. The boat did not have trim pumps, and I purchased one merc trim pump and was told I need a pump for each tab.

What is the best set up, using one pump for both tabs, or a pump on each tab?

1 pump wouldn't allow for any fine tuning between 2 tabs. Both up, both down. May also run into problems where 1 tab takes less effort to lower/raise over the other, so they would not move at the same speed. Possibly to a point where 1 would move fully before the other would begin to. You don't want that!
