I saw a guy putting a great looking rig with triples in the water , I was admireing the boat quietly. and some Know it all comented to the owner of this great boat . are those bravo motors so undependable that you need three of them...?

I was unloading my boat about a week ago and started the engines and some guy across the way got off of his sailboat came over and said "girls don't like to go fast because they can't talk to each other and they don't like to get their hair messed up." Now there are a lot of retorts I could have spouted off to this guy but I simply replied "the girls I go out with do."

Here's a good story. There is a restaurant at my marina. It's really kind of crapy but they charge high prices and think they're all that.

Last year, the first day I had my boat in the water I was running it at the dock to check for leaks, set timing and idles etc. before the maiden voyage.

The hostess comes walking down the dock and ask's Lucididee if we're going to be here for a while because it's really loud. Lucididee turns around to the girl and says; "Yes, we're going to be here ALL SEASON!"

Dee, that was f'ing great!!!


Another time, after a long day of boating and consumption. I'm hanging out at the restaurant bar in the marina. One of the douche bag boat owners from the other dock, half in the bag, comes over to me and starts yelling and saying, "it's too loud and everyone at the marina needs to listen to me when I rev. my engines." I turned around to the guy and said, "It's a marina full of speed boats, get used to it!" The guy never said anything else to me for the rest of the season.

I had another jacka$$ complain once. He came up to me and said, "you woke me up early the other morning when you were flushing the motors." I said, really how is that, I didn't get down here until 10 am. Then said; "Since when is 10 am early? You should try going to bed earlier."
