Maybe a Stupid Question...
How exactly does a "Drive Blow"...?? I mean is it from Standing on the Throttle too long, Too often, Jumping the boat out of the water... Combination of everything...
I am just curious, I would like (as I am sure everyone else would) to try to avoid that this summer... But there is ALOT of talk about this, and seems almost common especially with Poker Runs... Any pointers would be greatly appreciated...

Running too much torque through it over taxes the gears and bearings. Having a seal allow water to mix with the drive lube will do it.
Running high HP and no drive shower to help keep the oil cool will do it.
Flying the boat will overload the gears upon re-entry.
Going WOT from idle will overload the gears.
WOT for long periods will do it too.
Just use common sense and it should hold up.
