I can tie a monkeys fist too :) A handy trick for passing lines is drilling a hole through an old softball,splicing a loop of small line through it, and using it instead of a traditional monkeys fist. People are used to catching softballs and an added bonus if they miss it is that they float.

Growing up a Navy brat, that's how dad refered to lots of things. The bulkhead (wall), the overhead (ceiling), the deck (floor), the head (bathroom) and so on.
