Is it Me or is this boat over priced? It's a USED single engine.

Re: Used boat pricing?

Its seems that their are a few brands of boats that are continually priced very high. I have seen a few that are price 5-15 grand above book value. This seems crazy to me since considering the price of fuel and the state of the economy. I would think it would be a buyers market now.

Re: Used boat pricing?

Isn't there a brand new left over for 99K out there?

Found it! and with a 525! Seems like this one is advertised just to help sell the new one.

Re: Used boat pricing?

Well the past few boats I've purchased were 1-2 years used. I guess I got them for steals compared to some of the prices I seen this week

Re: Used boat pricing?

Price should in the ballpark of 75% of what you can buy a brand-new one with the same equipment.

Good catch. If they can't get rid of the brand new one for 99K that has better power, what's one thats been used in salt water for a year worth???? Certainly not 93K!!

Maybe 65-70K if you really like it... and it's only going to keep losing value for years to come. This is exactly why I buy older boats that have been re-done. Everyone is different, but I'll never buy a new boat. Just my .02
