Re: kilo runs and rader runs 2006
OPA is sanctioning the Crecent City Kilos. We are offering these classes.
P1 - P5 boats Vee lite Vee twin Cat Lite Cat twin Cat O/B Cat Turbine Vee Turbine That should cover almost all boats. Houseboats and other smaller classes will run under APBA rules. |
Re: kilo runs and rader runs 2006
So a 39 MTI can not run. Class rules state that a twin engine cat must be a minimum of 40' A single engine cat must be a minimum of 30'. I do not think I have ever seen a 30-39' cat with one engine. Who the heck wrote those rules?

The OPA rules will allow for any boat to run in Crescent City. From P5 up to Extreme gas or Turbine. The OPA Kilo rule book isn't on that web site. OPA is sanctioning the offshore style boats in Crescent City. APBA will sanction the races for houseboats and smaller outboard runabouts and inflatables. Bring your helmets and jackets! I think you might want preregister with AMF. Crescent City is a small town. |
