My 40 foot Fountain was a wave crusher. That boat was amazing.

So does Surface drives..and Voilá even less wrenching.

regarding the quote;
untill the fountains show up and you get SPANKED
and you know it...
not ALOTt of apaches running/racing? not even in p1 anyone been offshore racing lately? would it matter? i guess its inshore racin,

dont get me wrong,,, i think apache's are nice boats!!! BAD AZZ WITH SOME SNORTING power,,
but its like taking a 1957 chevy and racing a 1999 viper
technology is what it is,, now take both and modify and it gets even uglier,,
great pleasure boat, but bottom line it takes a ton more money and time to keep 1000's runnin than 525's and not to speak of fuel consumption. but who cares,,,,,,
big ol heavy boat with a ton of hp is cool!!
but still not gonna run with todays efficient equipment.
it is what it is,
my comparison is i had a 70 camaro all the cheese all the money poured into it,, no way no how could it run withmy viper... i still love both....
no matter what u all say when it gets real ugly rough i dont care if youhave a apache cig or a fountain u gonna be miserable and unless u toddle home u will be hurt and so will the boat,
i know there will be stories aobut how u came back in 12 footers running 100 but i aint buyin it.
all in all great boats for different folks and that is good.
if we all had the same chit wouldnt have notn to talk about.

Good post Jonas

The choice is yours "old school muscle or new school hustle"
Both Bas A$$ boats

Shame on you to make such a comment on someone you don't know. The only crack I have seen, was the cracked in half Fountain we went by,and that is not the first or the last. I have seen them brake at LOTO also. I still give credit to them for the fastest smooth water boat, but they are no Apache or CIG.

Travis Reed:
Look up the word IDIOT in the dictionary... There is a picture of you and your name. Fountain dominates some of the biggest rough water races in the world, so I really dont understand where you are comming from either. Take my first comment with a grain of salt, its just some trash talk, u like everyone else on this site is a boater so when it comes down to it Im sure you are pretty cool as well

i would love to have that camaro today!!
had a muncie 4 speed, mcloud clutch, stroked small block,. loud, raw, unrefined, fun as all heck to drive i wish i had it today,, but to find something similar its all the money..

had a 72 chevelle 350 with a power slide trans, glass packs.
we used this to tow our jet boat funny as heck.
and then an ss nova, too much power it was straight scary the whole car woud twist, yikes,
those days were fun,, i was just so broke could barely keep en runiin,
