Default Quick Cleats....How many??

How many do you think are needed on a 25' boat to only be used for hanging fenders (bumpers)?? I was thinking three on each side or is two enough.......

Hey 454, if that was my boat, knowing how I raft up every w/e w/ other boats. I would go for a minimum of 3 on each side. One just forward of the transom, one 3-4 ft. in front of that and 3-4ft forward 4 the next one! Again , just knowing how I would need the fenders placed for rafting up! Wrink

Thanks guys.....that is what I was thinking....three on each side and that would be good for most of the time.....could always use the rails when needed........

R-addiction.....I am actually going for the ones you push the pin in to relaese.......a little more $$ but more conveniant.

Fred, I need 6 of them. I only need the side you put on the rope. I already have the receiver ends in my boat. Did you ever send the Carbon Fiber gauge? I need to make a decision quick. I need my completed gauges in my hands in 2 weeks.

Sent the Carbon Fiber gauge yesterday. Look for it on Monday.

I'll send you some quick pin cleats Monday. [just the pin portion].

You're one lucky bastard with that new boat!

Thanks Fred. After the year and a half renovation on the Motion I swore I would never do it again. Every piece from My MTI is in boxes and it is a complete bare hull and deck. It is at the paint shop as we speak. I should have my head examined. Chris from Graphic EFX and Eddy Guardado Marine are doing the work. It's supposed to be done for Sarasota but I'm holding my breath. I don't even know exactly what the boat is going to look like. I told them I want exotic! Chris said this is one of the wildest one he's done. New paints and techniques. I'm sure it's going to be gorgeous, I am a little on the anxious side. For all I know they can screw with me and do a nice floral print in pastel colors.
