anyone have 2 sets of upper gears 1.48 ratio for #3a's
im looking for 2 sets of the ssm #3a's forged gears for the uppers, to make 1.48 ratio. was wondering if anyone has 2 sets in stock. let me know, thx in advance ratman

i think the upper has to be 1.31 add that to the lower and the toal ratio is 1.48 to one i will double check in the morn on monday, thx ratman

You need the # 43-847823A1 gear set, that was mentioned in an above post. It is a straight cut, ( not spiral cut set as shown ), net-forged, splined shaft.
To get the overall ratio you multiply the ratio of the upper(1.31) and the lower (1.125) =1.47375.
I wish I could help you, but I don't have any spare sets. I do have 2 #5's and 2 #3A's that are set up with the above combination and I will be selling one of the sets this spring after I see which set works best on my boat. The #5's have 14 hours on them since they were completely gone through and the #3's are fresh with 0 hours.
