Its a gorgeous lake, much bigger than ithought. I have been working up here since '89. I never brought my boat but about 8 years ago I got a Baja 302 so I brought it up withme for the week. Marine guys were pretty rude, couldn't stay there. they wouldn't tell me but I found the resort rents transient docks so ended up way down there and it was pretty dead for the week. a chilly weekend when the wife came up Thursday so not a lot of people out on the water, a great couple from Pittsburgh we met. but back and forth to the dam was a lot of fuel and no boats to tie up with made it not worth it. I wouldn't mind bringing the big cat up once but once it goes to camp on the allaegheny river it don't come out again until its time to go home for the winter. Sitting in Huntingdon at the comfort inn typing this as we speak. Its a great area.
