this is the age old question unfortunately i don't think there is anything definitive as far as hull ID goes. about the only way is through inspection. kevlar has a goldish appearance but unfortunately most old resins do as well. it also does not grind well it will tend to kinda fuzz up as you grind on it (that is probably the best test). what year/model is the boat?
