I was thinking the same thing. My boat is also kept on a lift behind my house. The only thing I do know is keep the power turned off to the lift when not using it. What does everyone else do that keeps their boat on a lift?

so, prop locks, stern drive locks and keeping the boat on a lift pretty much eliminate most theft? I'm sure that if someone wants a boat, nothing will stop them.....but these 3 things eliminate what.....about 98% chance of theft?
