ease of resale on the 28ss alone should make him stretch his budget

Ok Yes the Cig is a great looking boat, but the bolsters look way to small for me to fit in them,i think the boat is like 1978 or 1980 and trying to get a loan on that year boat probally wouldn't happen, also does the boat have a trailer or not and where is the boat located?

I have a 1996 280 Velocity that is supposedly sold, but if the deal doesn't go thru, I'll let you know.
It's a 1996, with an 1999 HP500 with all the goodies, for ~ $30,000 with trailer.
The buyers are suppose to come next week and pick it up.

How about a 1982 302 Formula twin 468's complete drive line has only 60 hours. New Paint, cockpit and V-berth interior . $ 27500 takes it .

I have to say that I totally agree with you. I would love to buy that boat, unfortunately I cant write a check that large that wouldn't bounce all the way to the bank.

For those who have financed older "expensive" boats what are your options??

good call BB on that one in PA.
But the power isn't mild/stock and may cause some headaches.
Now the one w/ the cat, 3man bolster, and 3a drive... that got my name all over it... but not my $. That is badass.
