Yeah I really don't want to pay some jerk off 10% to sell my boat. I guess if it was someone I trusted, maybe. Seems a little ridiculous...I have never bought a boat from a broker...I want to sell it myself. Just sucks waiting around and weeding through all the bullsh1t. Just seems like nobody wants to pull the trigger.

Sorry I missed, but what did you buy to replace the Scarab?

IMO .. Ebay is relatively cheap and exposure is way up there. You don't have to actually complete an Ebay transaction/sale to get a serious buyer out of the money and time spent listing ;) Good luck with the sale ... :drink:

Same situation here. Tried boattrader for 4 months last year. Apprx 60+ emails with a million pics. Not one person even came by to look. Maybe I'm too honest or the boat looks like sh*t . Even tried ebay and was insulted with a $20K offer.

OSO sold my Sonic in 7 days across the country sight unseen.

I would look into Boat Trader as well as eBay. While you may not sell your boat on the eBay listing, the nationwide masses that you reach, often sells a boat/truck/item afterwards. This has happened a couple times for me.

Re: Where should I list my boat???

Thanks for the advise, I think I'll try ebay. Probably more exposure there than anywhere. I'm just afraid it won't get to the reserve and then it will be one of those boats that you see on there a bunch times and think there is something wrong with it, but I think the price is fair, and it is negotiable. Ratman let me know how it goes on ebay. Please post a link once its up. Thanks.

ask buyabeak.com if he would take it to consignment, he knows mad people that are always looking for boats.
