Ok agreed that the time and effort is not the most viable option. Although if you buy a used 10M fountain for 40K , your still buying someone elses used boat.
I believe its all about personality and wallet..

Not a nice way to welcome a potential member to the board. Everyone had a "first post" when they came to this site.

These things will nickel & dime you to death take the money you think you are going to spend add 10gs and a nice used one.

There's one in the classifieds for + or - 17k.

Without looking at it, I'd still guess it's a better starting point.

I take it this is a mid to late 80's Executioner with a square transom "no swim platform" . I personally think the integrated swim platform takes away from thelook of the newer boats. Anyway I wish more people would take on restoring the older boats . Granted it takes $$$$$ and lots of it, but the older boats are nice and Imagine if no one took an interest in keeping old Corvettes running. Just my thoughts

Agreed, but I dont think this boat would need much for a season of use. This is alot of boat for upper 40k.
I'd like to see some more/better pics of this boat, in the open, and w/ the engine hatch open.

I also agree that the 12 meter is a heck of a buy for 40 some grand , it may have 420's with trs but anyway you can play with the big boys for a modest amount of money
