Re: lake mead / lake havasu
There are a very few on Havasu....way up the river past Topock Gorge. Not many, but they have their own docks. There are condo's and trailers with beach access for boats and some do have docks, but very limited

What Semper said is accurate. The reason for no house on the Water in Havasu is because it is a Federal Wildlife Protection Area with the exception of the indian land. I for one think it is a good thing. I would hate to see the scenery changed from the way it currently is.

Re: lake mead / lake havasu
Modular homes (double wide trailers?) at Havasu Springs. The same thing at a few sites at Lake Mead such as Echo or Overton, but nothing closer than prox 1/4 mile from water. At Boulder Beach on Lake Mead there is a trailer park but they have a funny law saying that you can only stay there X month per year and control it by turning your water off! Lake Mead is all on a National Park.
