I have seen the boat on the water around the bay and St. Pete area. It is very nice and knowning Jay's gelcoat and rigging work from his Cat boats I expect and awsome CC from Spectre.

Just saw an ad for Blackhawk center consoles.
What's the story on the boats, company and owners?

Re: CC Owners
I was between a 26' Scarab Sport and a 28' Baja. I saw both almost side by side this weekend and pretty much decided on the Baja. I wasn't sure I wanted to bite off fueling twin engines but the difference between the Scarab and Baja are huge.

Florida Gator oh yeah the Baja 28 is way more boat than the 26 Scarab and not just by 2 feet. The Baja has huge tall hull sides and I believe more V angle too. My neighbor 3 houses up my canal has a 28 Baja with twin 225 Optimax.

Re: CC Owners
Jassman;
the ad i saw was the one just posted by lowblue320.
once you click on the boat in the ad they do give contact info for Blackhawk.
I was in TPA/PIE/SRQ area Fri.& Sat. and pickup a West Coast edition of Florida Boat Trader and their ads appear several times.
If it is the old hull from Sal & Willie should I figure it will do just about anything in any type water any time day or night?
