who are using for ins on your pre 1980 flat deck cigs?

try Keenan ins. they gave me a heck of a good price on my 34 Scarab but before i got it they quoted me a price on the 81 Scarab flatdeck i was looking at. i think it was in the $800.00 range. also Progressive gave me a quote of $870.00 on the flatdeck as well.

Phil, put the bong down. 
Insurance on that beast is gonna be a nightmare. A pre-'80's go fast, with 1000 hp per side... That's gonna be a tough one to find.
Lloyds of London would write you a note, but you're gonna pay.
Dave - what kinda power was in the KAAMA you were looking at? Was it stock? Was that just liability, or did it also cover the boat?

whole boat with 500hp per side. but that was for like a 20k value for the boat. i only wanted that amount ubtil i got done fixing it up than policy could be increased. its still for sale by the way, gonna make somebody a bad ass ride
