Default IMCO good bad

Would like some info on the imco sc 1000 drives. Are they rated up to 1000hp? Are they good on a cat and pros and cons. Have heard good and bad things about them.

You can't have heard anything bad about the new SC1000's because so far nothing has failed. Keep in mind that you get a complete package including a BAM transmission...

I don't care to talk prices, you'll have to negotiate your own deal, here is their toll free #; 800 899 8058. Keep in mind that you will be buying drive, standoff, transmission, steering, gimble and a lot more hardward. The details are currently in most boating magazines...

The boat they took to Havasu was a new R & D project with a pair of Yanmar Diesels. I was told a computer on one engine went out. Others at the lake told me they saw it smoking from one side. These Yanmars have 480 hp and I think somewhere in the 900 lb pd range...
