FYI for non-locals...

Lake Travis is about 16 feet low. The water level rose 4 feet last week, but it is still low. The Mile-Marker bouys are in the center of the channel, so stay close to them.

The May Poker Run will be held on Saturday, May 20th, 2006. The run will start at Lakeway Marine (MM17) 10:00 - noon, travel to Ridge Harbor (MM45) noon - 2:00, raft-off at Angel Bay (MM24) 2:00 - 4:00, and end at Carlos & Charlie's (MM9) 4:00 - 6:00. The last card must be drawn at Carlos'N Charlie's before 5:30.

I plan to get 2 cards at Lakeway and 2 more cards at Ridge Harbor. If I have a good hand so far, I will be at Carlos'N Charlie's. If I have a terrible hand, I will go to Devil's Cove and party. :D

the cards were sealed last time so you don't know your hand until the end...unless of course you are 'in the know' :evilb:

That only happens during the April "pre-season" poker run. In all of the "normal" poker runs, you draw a card out of a box. You get to see it, and they record it on your "playing sheet".

We should be leaving Houston around 3:00pm, so we get there and launch the boat and be at C & C's around 7:00pm?
