Hey I need some thoughts on a design to put in the cockpit pull out rug for my boat. To use and show what we can do. a theme like the pirate on the side of the fountian boat or flames that fade in to other colors, this is not the same as OL and others uses inlaid glued rug which you can't do fades with. so the design can be wild like the paint jobs that are out there. so any thoughts ,it will be a big sample to show what real custom carpet is. I have made a lot of inlaid carpets since 1990 :eek: for designers in homes. and this can run into the cabin of the boat too. and there is no binding used on the edges, to fall off or fade after a couple of yrs.wait you can paint we can put into rugs because every yarn is put in by hand. a silk / wool design we are makingwill cost $540 a yd other quotes the desiogner got were $1100 a yd at the BOSTON DESIGN CENTER :eek: BOAT PRICES WILL START MAYBE $30 A SQ FT MAYBE LESS DEPENDS ON TIME TO MAKE SO ANY THOUGHTS OR PICS IT WILL BE CARVED TOO AND CAN BE LOOPED AND CUT PILE
