It was a fun day. The law enforcement was ridiculous.... they got out in front of us in the ICW and rand 30 mph all the way to the inlet before we broke out and hauled ass. On the way back down in the ICW the Law was thick. I met with Buford T. Justice who pulled along side and said "explain this boat to me, son"....... "do you think your mufflers are effective?". I finally had to pull the trump card and tell him that I was a prosecutor here and think I remember him from a case we won..... he said "Have a nice day"!!! The outside was about 2-3 foot close together and choppy but it layed down north of Daytona until about 5 miles from St. Augustine. I was third boat in after the MTI cat and Triple X. I was balls to the wall all the way up!!!! Lucky Strike came up at one point but he dropped his Geritol pills and had to slow down. Life is tough when you get older!!!! LOL The Berks were fun to hang with and even more fun to bust Bobby's chops. I had Jeff Murray and Lynyrd Skynyrd riding with me. Feels good to be second vee bottom to the first stop in an ocean run. "It not who has the fastest boat its who will go fast the longest"............
