There's no such thing as a perpetual motion machine. It takes the same amount of energy to split water into HHO as is produced by the combustion of it. However there are losses when you convert heat into electricity. It will always require more energy than it produces.

It's great for creating a cutting torch, but wasteful when trying to run an internal combustion engine.
They had this company on cnbc yesterday, the first question was amount of electric to produce the fuel. They claim to have solved that issue. With the price of gas, maybe it didn't make sense at $1 a gallon but does at $2 and even more at $3

If this is used as a fuel source someday that guy is going to be MEGA-RICH

This has been around for a long time. There is a similar process that jewelers use because firecodes sometimes wont let them have cylindered gas in malls.
Ive seen it...it works...its been around for a long time.
It is not very efficient and is more expensive than air seperation.
Who knows though, if they improve the process they might have something.

I think the whole point is the fuel source is real ceap (free) so who cares on efficeincies?

We care because, how are you gonna produce the "fuel" in a car? How will you generate the electricty needed? Will you use a gasoline powered generator? If yes, then you will burn the same (or more) amount of gas that you would have to run the car. Are you gonna use batteries? Well, it would be more efficient to just have an electric car!

This process works for a cutting torch because you either have a "endless" supply of electricty (wall outlet), or you don't care how much gasoline you need to produce the flame.

You really do care about the efficencies!

There was a news video of a guy in Clearwater, FL with a working system in a car.

Since the torch works because we just plug into the wall offline production is what I was talking about not make it as you go in a car.

The ability to generate electic power is not free from the outlet either it is based in many ways from natural gas to hydroelectic and the nuclear option. Which if we could ever get fusion online we could solve most of our energy worries. Fusion just has that pesky problem of containging a one billion degree reaction. This also goes back to efficiencies because it takes more energy to contain the reaction then the reaction produces. France is closest to having sustained fusion reactions and it is contained by a magnetic field

Efficiencies are always important but the issue with runnig it in a car are more logistics

Claims that Brown's gas could be used as fuel for cars and other everyday energy needs are also met with skepticism, because it has not been demonstrated that it can be compressed to fit into a reasonable space without becoming dangerously explosive.

In almost any endevour there is a cost benifit analysis and for the most part we have found wayts to make processes efficient enough to be viable. If in the future HHO plant were put by hydro plants the distribution losses on a energy made unit versus energy delivered unit would probable be far less then the line losses of distributing the electricity. that is unless we can get the absolute zero thing figured out which would give us no line losses. That one may be a little tougher though then tthe efficiencies of converting water to HHo or Browns gas.

Glad you joined the Cig family hows the Bullet running?

Is water an endless supply? Sure there is a lot of laying around but what is the world started using water in the amouts that we use gasoline....
