what have u been smokin?!?!?!?

ur tellin a guy to buy a 5 year old baja for 50k?

i know someone who got a top gun for 60....
#1, the good stuff, thank you very much

#2 Maybe you missed my comment of "I wanted to spend less", so to clarify, I did on my boat. I do not know about Top Gun pricing, but that seems like a good value for 60, if in good condition to actally use.

If wave crusher comment was the reason, then yes, I boat out of Channel Islands, I have PERSONAL experience. You want to know what big time offshore is like, come and visit, in fact check my weather report today (click link below), and you will see what a light Sunday is for me as a Baja owner, as I will be out there hammering down the sticks.

Agreed, that's a great boat for 50,000. More of what would be considered a "wave Crusher"

Everyone here has an opinion......doesn't necessarily mean they are wrong or right. Do your "research" and take your time deciding what boat size/brand you want. Whenever I make a large purchase, I write a "pro" and "con" item list on paper and it helps me make a clear, informed decision.

Just my $.02
Wow, you really seem to be an expert on the subject.

Must not be much of a demand for Activator, Kryptonite, or Superboat because I cant recall ever seeing any of them up this way.

Get to a boat show and look at what there is.
And its boating season, so find some guys who are willing to take you for a ride so you can see the differences in how the boats run and handle.

partially true, and because there were umpteen thousands of the others sold, vs the few activators.... and the others cost less and are more mass market friendly

It has been a long time since I was in a boat that small but yesterday I demoed a guy in a 1997 27' Fountain with a 502/415hp motor. 70+mph. 2 big guy and a full tank of gas.
It had a trailer and sold for high 30's. It was a real nice boat, great ride and fun. For the money it's a great boat.
