The picture was on I-90 eastbound out of washington. The mechanic came in today and found the problem to be the high pressure oil pump. he stripped down the motor today and he will get the part in the morning and I should be rolling by the afternoon. It is pretty nice here and I drove to the state line to check out the showgirls dance hall. Tried to get married for the night but I went home empty handed. The diesel mechanic at the ford store is great so if you need work and are in the area see scott at Lake City Ford.

I have abuddy that just traded in a 06 truck just like yours because of having the same problem,had 6k miles on it :eek: Goodluck on the rest of your trip.

same reason i won't get rid of my 2000.....they just don't make them like that anymore

I will tell you how nice the dealer is. The part is not around the area so he took one off of a bran new 06 so that I could leave today. I have 150,000 miles in 13 months so I can not be mad at the truck
