RaggedEdge...Howard was indeed ahead of his time. Had an overpowered Viper myself. Most offshore powerboaters today don't realize what an influence he had on what they are zoom'n around in today. Wonder what he's up to these days? Ed

You mean like this one that ran the Atlantic Ocean from Sandy Hook to Atlantic City in all kinds of rough water, it's almost 20 years old and still in one piece.

Ed.....Nice to see that others remember the Hydrostream. Howard was for sure ahead of the pack, pad bottom, notched transom, and that little concave tunnel effect to the pad. Every time I see one I think back to how much fun those boats were to run, and all for less than 10 K, on a trailer with a few spare props.
