Default Rub/scuff marks

How do you guys remove rub marks and scuffs from the hull of your boat. Some of them you can rub off with your fingers, but the tough ones.....suck. Is there a clay bar or some kinda rubber wheel you attach on a drill?

Probably depends on the application, but I've had good luck with good ol' rubbing compound!
