Just like it was yesterday !!!!
I had the opportunity to travel to New Jersey for the Point Pleasant race this past weekend. Although the race didn't go according to plan, it was the old feelings of a race weekend that I was able to share again.
Billy Martin and I compared notes at the party the night before the race, and agreed that we were welcomed so warmly by this next generation of racers, it almost felt as if we hadn't ever left.
Many thanks to the many OSO members that I met there....it is so nice to put a face to some of the names on the board. Many thanks to Augie and Smitty for their hospitality that is second to none.
