well a canopied 39 MTI will run into the 130's... so take some off for a open top boat, low 120's... how fast is the fountain?

Brad, I have never driven a Fountain 38' with Merc's. new 700's, they say it runs 115 to 117mph, the 575sci MTI 39' that I have driven a lot ran about the same 115 to 117mph, everybody said it would run 120+ but I never saw it. I heard the real speed on the MTI 39 with merc's. new 700hp, at the Miami show was around 125 to 130mph.
