I had one that was totally custom: Side console, rear bench seat with live well, forward casting platform, poling platform etc. Great flats boat, drew NO water.. Had a Johnrude 60 on it, never clocked it but it pushed a 23 pitch prop right up to 5600 RPM's all day.. Fun fun boat.. I spotted it recently in the Keys.. Worse for the wear , but the owner will not part with it...

I drove one years ago. If I recall, the one i drove had a 70 horse Tohatsu motor. I was pretty surprised how well it handled big water. We went through some pretty snotty stuff.

Ran one when I was 13 out on the Pacific. Handled the bigger water very well. I miss that boat

Damn if one of these didn't pass by me today.. Hull looks a LOT like the hobie...

The only boat I ever regretted selling.. Flats it, back countried it, even offshore'd it a few times.. Damn boat caught more fish than all the others I have owned combined...
