How do I design my boat color scheme/graphics?
I'm ordering a Y2K 30' superboat soon. I need to come up with the color scheme- and I'm artistically challenged. I want something simple, like a white hull with either Navy blue sides, or all white with some sort of stripe theme.
Anyone have a computer based tool to help sketch? I'm thinking a photo of a blank hull in microsoft paint, etc. Or maybe there's a website that lets you pick different schemes.
Otherwise I'm stuck with crappy paper sketches.
Thanks.

I like the way you're talking simple.
I'm not into these paint job's and interiors that look like a melted box of Crayola 64 colors.
I know some guy's say the all white looks like a refrigerator. I like it.
There was a guy on here maybe a year ago, had either a Donzi, or Formula (forgive my forgetfullness) that was painted all silver, with maybe a black accent - sweet looking boat ( but still a refrigerator, just now a SS Sub-Zero )
I like the look.
Let the lines of the boat do the talking.
Good luck.

Well, I beg to differ here as I dig the sweet clean mostly white refrigerator boats and I love the neon colorful boats as well.
To each their own as far as boat finishes, yet each and every boat makes the waterways a beautiful thing.

Call Chris ar Grafik EFX. You let him know your thoughts and he will come up with a plan for you. He has a great imagination and a ton of patientce. He did 9 different drawings for me. Then he did thousands of changes once we had the basic idea.
