Plexus?
What do you think of Plexus? I was looking at the new Baja's on the market which are being built with a liner system joined with Plexus. I am a bit Leary of an adhesive joining the main framework to the hull as well as the deck and hull joint. I have a bit more comfort seeing that Formula is using Plexus to adhere it's stringers as per this link

Who else is using Plexus and is it as good as they claim?

Re: Plexus?
Plexus (the adhesive) has been in use for a long time. Scarab used it and I know Formula and many other builders use it. It is also used in other industries such as the aerospace industry too.

That's right Mike. Boeing is a big purchaser of Plexus.
Plexus makes excellent adhesive systems. They are used by most manufacturers including Formula and Baja among many others. It exhibits great strength, toughness and impact resistance.

Re: Plexus?
Plexus bonds at a molecular level....I've actually seen a failure of two panels joined by Plexus.....it wasn't the plexus that failed but the panels themselves broke apart!! the bond was still perfect! Its some cool stuff
