And there's always the option to turn them off, if speed constraints are effecting you. ;)

thanks Nick, you are right and there are also non OSO options in windows if you just want to read text on a dial up situation.

Even Starbucks , airports, and Panera Bread offer high speed wireless internet for free and thats only to name a few.

I turned the pics off but it didn't help much after a while.

I was kind of making an observation I guess.

I have access to high speed some of the time and dial up others. There's a huge difference. I'm sure that less and less people will be affected as more move to high speed.
