Which manufacturer offers the best warranty? This would include the engine and the drives.

Formula puts a pretty good package deal together which is like a bumper to bumper 5 year warranty on the entire boat on some engine configurations.

Active Thunder and Pantera both offer a lifetime hull warranty for the original owner of the boat. Engine/drive warranty will be separate.

Mercury Marine/MerCruiser will sell you up to five years of additional coverage for a total of 6 years on any engine/sterndrive package up to and including the 496HO/XZ. I don't think you can package order an XR drive with a 496HO.
