Reminder of Fun Run at Winthrop Harbor 7/29
 

Don't forget to register today for this run.

1. Meet at Winthrop Harbor boat launch area at 10:30am 7/29
2. Leave at 11:00am for lunch run to Racine
3. Leave lunch location at 3pm for run back to Winthrop Harbor
4. Gather group of boats outside of mouth of harbor
5. Parade past yacht club to slips
6. Appetizers start at 5:30pm, Barbaque dinner 6:30pm
7. DJ/dancing start 8pm.

Cost for dinner and band is $15 each. Cash bar will be available.

Each person is responsible for slip, cost is $1/ft. Contact Northpoint Marina at 847-746-2845. Try to get on docks B or C. However, any dock A-F is an easy walk to the yacht club.

I'm coming up to Northpoint Saturday morning (leaving Diversey Harbor at (9:20), returning after lunch to get ready for Venetian night. Anyone wanna "convoy", lemme know.

Racine is the plan for lunch. Dan, if you want to do Milw maybe we can get a group together Sunday morning for a run up there.

Bob, we will be gathering at the long dock by the boat ramp at 10:30am if you want to tie up there. Another option is to hang around the north side of the harbor entrance. We plan on leaving Northpoint at 11am.

I checked this morning and we have 60 people registered for the evening barbaque and I know more have registered directly with the yacht club. There are several that are doing the fun run and not attending for dinner so I would guess we are going to have 35-45 boats in this run. Not bad for a little run to Racine.

Looking forward to seeing everyone Sat morning at 10:30.

I think you should ask if there is going to be any without the beak! I know of 6 from the shed alone. I also spoke with Scott at the Poker Run and he said he would come. I am sure he will bring something special and I bet it will have that noses you are talking about.

Even though Scott gave me a great deal I could not afford to put the boat back together after the beating. Seriously though, I was told no kids and the boys just got back from overnight camp. Next year! I heard it was great and everyone I talked to had a great time.

Are you going to come see us in Winthrop this weekend?
