light covers
 
just wondering if anyone knows where i can get those little rubber light bulb covers the ones that change the color of the bulb???

Our local autozone and pepboys parts stores had a few. Also had the colord bulbs as well.

I'd definiately look into replacing the bulbs with LEDs before I put rubber boots over bulbs that get very hot.

www.superbrightleds.com is where I have bought a lot of bulbs for my truck and boat. I like them a lot. They have a host of colors and they last a lot longer than bulbs do. They are all less fragile as their is no filament to break as in bulbs; and filaments get even more fragile when they are hot.

Ditto, this is where it's all going.Even in my industry ( show technology) it's all going LED.
