If my memory serves, Lady Anna was 130' SF(biggest at the time) and built at Dennison there on Dania Cut. It wasn't finished @ Dennison because owner mounted a commando operation and took it in the middle of the nite to another yard for finishing. When it was being brought North by it's crew, it began sinking off the NJ coast. Oddly enough, it happened right by the Cape May sea bouy, which is what the rescue party found the crew clinging to. There were numerous attempts to raise her by salvage crews and Lloyds of London, but after several failed tries, they gave-up and paid-up. Lots of rumers and speculation about that one.

Lady Anna sunk while fishing overnight. Hovnanian was on board at the time. I am friends with his nephiew & saw pictures taken from an unmaned submersable. She was right side up with fishing gear still on the fighting chair (with line out). I believe LA was 126' and was the biggest sport fish at the time.
