Loss of TV signal, cable or dish, is a way of life for us in Central Florida.
The few times we loose signal is no big deal to us. We just grab a DVD to watch.

For internet we're using dial-up .
Soon to be changed to cable.
Dish Network is supposed to offer high speed satellite service sometime in the fall.
