Powerquest rules Lake Michigan

Powerquest - made in Holland, Michigan.
Deep V set up just for the snotty stuff. Not the fastest boat in smooth easy water but Lake Michigan is rarely easy.
Too bad they haven't made a boat for a year and a half.

Sorry guys, I had to chime in the middle of all this Fountain - Cig stuff. It reminds me of a Harley Davidson convention (don't ride with the herd).

I guess that would make them "used to be made in Holand MI" :D

Most of the time, the Lake MI winds are coming from the North, West, or a Northwest variation. You West side Lake MI dwellers get the flat water most of the time. We have beautiful beaches, but I haven't been able to comfortably anchor at them for over 3 weeks.

Running in big water is fine, it's the lack of ability to stop and anchor without hurlling that sucks. That really grinds my gears.....

You guys over there with your 35,38 and 42 Fountains are sissies. I'm fine with my 32' OAL 26' UL (usable length) Fountain over here in real rough water. :)
