What did the 28' Saber run? I assume it has different motors than it did last year when it was for sale for 25K.

Yep, your right just a pair of 383 small blocks, w/ Dart Heads running on pumps gas. We ran 78 & 81 on Saturday then 81 again on Sunday. My goal was to break 80mph so I was happy!! We run in P4 which has a break out speed of 82mph so we are right there.

And yes they are not the 355ci motors that were in the boat when I bought it. We did manage to save and use the dart heads and the carbs, but that is about all that is the same. We have added Full Hyd. steering, and redid the dash with new gauges. Next on the list it the drives!! We haven't had the time or the $$$ to do much to them yet.

We won our first race in Washington, NC this year and had a second at New Richmond. Our next race is Chattonooga in October and then Key West in November!!!!!

i took some pics of dave scotts turbine boat from tantrums boat as they were pulling out of the water, after we passed by masher was just sitting there when tomlinson started biotchin to masher about us azzholes taking pictures of his property (the turbine boat) wtf crawled up his azz, i was stunned when masher told me what that ahole said. i thought it was dave scotts money that bought the boats! i figured budwiser sponsors that boat for the fans to enjoy and take pics of not for the throttleman to covet and piss and moan when john Q public takes pics of it! so tomlinson wins the flacid weenie award for acting like a peniz

Thanks wild for the hard work you done for the docks. It made getting in a breeze. Also great to meet Steve from oso and see his beautiful boat. Steve from oso and Jimmy Lee with freedom one are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Thanks for everything.
